New Military Clothing Line!

So as many of you already know, I'm a graphic designer. It's seriously my passion.

Well lately I have been itching to buy a couple of Army Wife t-shirts for myself so I can show off my army wife pride....there's only ONE problem:

I have not found ANY designs that I think are cute enough to pay money for.

So what's a girl to do?

Well, I've decided to make my own designs...and I don't mean 1 or 2 designs, I'm talking about making a whole line. I'll be putting my graphic design skills to work, and this line of clothing and accessories will not just be Army, my goal is to do all branches.

I know it will be a long while before my dream comes to fruition and I have real products in my hands....but I have already started with the initial designs. I've floated out some design samples to some military wives I know and so far the feedback has been fantastic.

I still have a LONG way to go with this dream, but I really feel like this is what I should be doing.

More to come on this topic later!

Eventful weekend!

It's been a while since my last post... a lot has happened!

My best friend went into the hospital Wednesday night and was in active labor ALL DAY on Thursday...literally all day from early morning until around 8:30pm when she finally got to the point that it was time to push. After a few hours her doctor decided that a C-Section was necessary and so shortly after that her  baby girl was born into this world at 11:12pm.

I was with her through it all and to be honest it was such a life changing experience for me as well. She did SO GOOD during the entire labor, never screamed or cried once. She is one tough chick. Thankfully her husband, who is a soldier, was also able to be there through the whole thing. (we were worried his sergeants wouldn't let him attend) so it all worked out wonderfully!

I got my husband Friday night, and thanks to his overnight pass was able to keep him the whole weekend.

Totally amazing time spent with him. As usual.

Not too many more weeks here for AIT..then it will be on to our First Duty Station! Mr. Dogtags should be getting his orders sometime in the next week or so, and we are both excited, anxious, and nervous about where we might be going and what unit he will be in.

Much love,
